The Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida would like you to participate in the Health Matters Corporate Challenge as part of the Community First Credit Union Hale & Hearty 7K Race, June 2nd at the Riverside Arts Market, Northeast, FL.
The goal of this race is to showcase the positive attributes of a healthy community, the importance of wellness and quality of life. The Health Matters Corporate Challenge is a great way to engage your team and showcase your corporation’s commitment to this important issue.
This Challenge will:
- Provide a program that will engage your team in the months leading up to the event via
- A training blog where each corporation can appoint a team leader to blog about training, tips for living healthier, your corporate values and mission
- The opportunity for your team to compete against other corporations in Jacksonville to win the Challenge
- The opportunity for your employees to bring their children to participate in the 1 mile fun run
- Earn points from the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council toward the Healthiest Companies Awards
The overall goal of the race is celebrate the Riverside/Avondale neighborhood as a healthy place and a community that exemplifies the 7 qualities of a healthy community. The need to emphasize and encourage the connection between where you live and your health is increasingly becoming important and this event will showcase this important issue.
